Hathras News: A major accident has happened in Hathras, UP. More than 50 people, including 40 women, have died in the stampede during Bhole Baba’s satsang here. More than a hundred people are serious. Unconfirmed sources have put the death toll at more than 75. There was a sudden stampede during Bhole’s sermon here.
Hundreds of people fell in it and others started running over them. The unconscious people have been rushed to the hospital. The bodies of 20 devotees have been sent to Etah. Many bodies have been brought to Hathras and Aligarh. The injured have been sent to Aligarh and Hathras for treatment.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also taken cognizance of the accident in Hathras. CM Yogi has expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased and has also directed the district administration officials to immediately take the injured to the hospital and provide them proper treatment.
Along with this, he has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The Chief Minister directed the district administration officials to reach the spot and expedite the relief work. The Chief Minister has directed ADG Agra Zone and Commissioner Aligarh to investigate the incident. Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and DGP Prashant Kumar have left for Hathras.
It is said that Bhole Baba’s sermon program was going on in Phulrai village of Sikandrarao police station area of Hathras. During this time, more crowd had come than expected.
According to an estimate, 1.25 lakh people had reached. During this time people started getting upset due to the crowd. Due to the crowd and heat, people started fainting and a stampede broke out.
In this, when people fell on the ground, others started running over them. Police and administration officers who reached the spot on information have admitted hundreds of seriously injured people to the hospital.
After the accident, so many injured reached that even stretchers fell short in the government hospital. People were seen writhing in pain outside the CHC. Hathras administration has also alerted private hospitals. Everyone has been asked to keep beds reserved. The injured have also been taken to a private hospital. People were seen searching for their loved ones amidst the crowd and dead bodies.
