The Chief Minister has directed ADG Agra Zone and Commissioner Aligarh to investigate the incident. Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and DGP Prashant Kumar have left for Hathras.

Hathras administration has also alerted private hospitals. Everyone has been asked to keep beds reserved. The injured have also been taken to a private hospital. People were seen searching for their loved ones amidst the crowd and dead bodies.
