The weather system over the country:
The northern limit of the monsoon is passing through 16.5N/60E, 16.5N/65E, 16 degrees E/70 degrees north. Goa (Mormungao), Narayanpet, Narsapur, 17E/85N, 19.5E/88N, 21.5E/90N, 23E/89.5N and Islampur.
Conditions are favourable for further advance of the Southwest monsoon into some more parts of Central Arabian Sea, some more parts of Maharashtra including (Mumbai), Telangana, remaining parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, some parts of South Chhattisgarh and South Odisha, renaming remaining parts of West Central, and more parts of Northwest Bay of Bengal during next 2 days.
The Western disturbance is seen as a cyclonic circulation over Saurashtra and adjoining areas.
A cyclonic circulation is over northwest Madhya Pradesh.
A cyclonic circulation is over Telangana.
A shear zone is running roughly along latitude 16 degrees north between 3.1 and 5.8 Km above mean Sea level.
A cyclonic circulation is over Northeast Assam.
The cyclonic circulation over east central and joining Myanmar coast between 3.1 and 5.8 Km above mean Sea level.
A cyclonic circulation is over northwest Uttar Pradesh.
Weather Activity in the last 24 hours:
During the last 24 hours, Light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells occurred over Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Karnataka, parts of Telangana and South Konkan and Goa.
Light to moderate rain occurred over Rayalaseema, parts of Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Jammu Kashmir, west Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan.
Light rainfall occurred over Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, South Madhya Pradesh and coastal Andhra Pradesh.
A dust storm with light rain occurred over parts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.
Delhi and NCR also witnessed dust storm activities during night hours. And heat wave conditions occurred over parts of West Uttar Pradesh.

During the next 24 hours, Light to moderate rain with a few heavy to very spells is possible over the coastal Karnataka, south Madhya Maharashtra and south Konkan and Goa.
Light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells is possible over parts of Kerala, Lakshadweep, Marathwada and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Light to moderate rain may occur over Sikkim, Northeast India, South interior Karnataka, north interior Karnataka and parts of Tamil Nadu.
Light rain is possible over Odisha, parts of South Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh Vidarbha Chhattisgarh and western Himalayas.
Dust storm thunderstorms with scattered rain may occur over at many places in West Rajasthan, parts of East Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana.
Dust storm with light rain is possible over and Delhi.
Heat wave conditions may occur in isolated pockets of Northeast Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar and Odisha.
