Weather Update Today, New Delhi: The heat wave continues in Delhi-NCR. On Monday, the temperature rose above 47 degrees Celsius in some parts of the capital. Najafgarh was the hottest area, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 47.4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature was 47.1 degrees Celsius in Mungeshpur, 46.6 in Pitampura, 46.3 in Jafarpur and 46 degrees Celsius in Pusa.

No respite from the scorching heat

There is silence on the roads during the day due to the scorching heat and scorching heat. There is no relief from the stinging heat even in the evening. Due to continuously increasing temperature, life of people has become difficult.

Heatwave red alert in Delhi NCR

Due to heat wave conditions, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heatwave in Delhi for the next five days. The weather may remain dry in the next four days. Due to which the maximum temperature is likely to increase by 2-3 degrees. The maximum temperature this week is expected to be between 44 to 46 degrees, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 29 to 32 degrees.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear today. Apart from this, along with scorching heat in some areas, there are also chances of strong winds blowing at the speed of 25 to 35 km per hour. Heat wave may also prevail in many parts of Delhi today.

  • While leaving the house, always wear a cap or umbrella on your head.
  • Keep drinking adequate amount of water.
  • Wear light and loose-fitting clothes.
